The RBC Capital Markets Pathways Diversity Award Program will be open for applications between December 1, 2024 and February 9, 2025.
This opportunity is open to all undergraduate students who identify as Black and/or as an Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) person of Canada studying full-time at a Canadian university/college who graduate between December 2026 and June 2027, and who are passionate about pursuing a full-time career in Capital Markets.
The program includes:
- a financial award of $10,000*
- a 2026 internship in Global Investment Banking or Global Markets
- executive sponsorship from a senior leader at the firm

Timeline & Selection Process
We appreciate all student interest and application submissions for our scholarships. The applicant review and selection processes are highly competitive.
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by a team of business leaders at RBC Capital Markets
- Application deadline: February 09, 2025, 11:59pm ET
- Next Steps: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to advance to first round interviews; select first round candidates will advance to final round interviews*. Successful candidates will join the 2026 Summer Analyst Program in Investment Banking or Global Markets; the C$10,000 financial award will be paid to each successful candidate at the start of their summer internship
