FINvest 2024 est l’événement phare de recrutement et de réseautage dans le domaine de la finance organisé à chaque rentrée par le Service de gestion de carrière.
Ne manque pas cette occasion unique de connaître les possibilités d’emploi et de stage ainsi que de réseauter et recevoir des conseils personnalisés de personnes exerçant leur passion dans des postes prestigieux au sein d’organisations renommées.
Où et quand ? Les 17 et 18 septembre de 12h00 à 15h00 à l’amphithéâtre Banque Nationale puis dans la cafétaria (édifice CSC, Rez-de-jardin).
Déroulement
Chacun des deux jours se déroulera comme suit :
- Partie 1 : 60 minutes de “pitch” par les entreprises
Durant 8 minutes, chaque entreprise se prêtera au jeu pour l’exercice du pitch et tentera de convaincre les étudiant(e)s de joindre leur équipe à titre de stagiaire et/ou d’employé(e). Elles parleront, entre autres, de ce qui les démarque et des opportunités qu’elles ont à offrir.
- Partie 2 : 90 minutes de réseautage entre les représentant(e)s des entreprises ayant pitché et la communauté étudiante
À qui s’adresse cet évènement ?
Tous les étudiants et étudiantes de HEC Montréal sont les bienvenu(e)s à cet évènement mais il s’adresse principalement aux étudiant(e)s du B.A.A. et de la M. Sc. qui aspirent à obtenir un poste ou un stage stimulant dans le domaine de la finance des marchés, finance quantitative ou finance d’entreprise. Le profil recherché par les entreprises présentes est principalement des étudiant(e)s qui se démarquent par leurs résultats académiques et leurs réalisations professionnelles et parascolaires.
Les présentations se dérouleront en français, mais il sera aussi possible d’interagir en anglais lors du réseautage.
Nous t’invitons à t’inscrire pour la journée de ton choix ou pour les deux jours si tu es disponible. À noter que les compagnies présentes ne seront pas les mêmes le 17 et le 18 septembre pour un total de 12 compagnies sur deux jours.

Location and date : on September 17 and 18 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Amphithéâtre Banque Nationale, and then in the cafeteria (CSC building, Rez-de-jardin).
Schedule
Each of the two days will proceed as follows:
- Part 1: 60 minutes of pitches by the companies
During 8 minutes, each company will take part in a pitch exercise and try to convince the students to join their team as an intern and/or employee. They will talk, among other things, about what sets them apart and the opportunities they have to offer.
- Part 2: 90 minutes of networking between the company representatives who pitched and the student community.
Who is this event for?
All HEC Montréal students are welcome to attend this event, but it is primarily aimed at BBA and MSc students who aspire to obtain a stimulating job or internship in the fields of market finance, quantitative finance, or corporate finance. The companies present are mainly looking for students who stand out through their academic performance, professional achievements, and extracurricular activities.
The presentations will be conducted in French, but there will also be an opportunity to interact in English during the networking sessions.
We invite you to register for the day of your choice or for both days if you are available. Please note that the companies present will not be the same on September 17 and 18, with a total of twelve companies over the two days.
